*January 24, 2012, 6:00 p.m., Freedom of Choice Ohio Coalition and National Council of Jewish Women Columbus Division invite you to celebrate the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade at a reception and the showing of the film “When Abortion Was Illegal: Untold Stories” at Gateway Film Center, 1550 N. High St., Columbus. Tickets are $15 regular/$10 student. Franklin St., Delaware, OH– “Women’s Health Care” — Nancy Pitts, Ohio Regional Coordinator for Raising Women’s Voices (a national initiative that advocates for women’s concerns in health care reform) will speak on the changes affecting women’s health care as a result of the Affordable Care Act (commonly referred to as Obamacare) which became law effective March 23, 2010. Nancy is, also, the Board Chair of Women Have Options and a member of the FOCO (Freedom of Choice of Ohio) coalition.

April 1, 2012, 3:00 p.m. “A Tea for OWU Senior Women” at Austin Manor, 95 Elizabeth St. Diane Regan, Past President AAUW/Ohio and Deborah Wooldridge, President Elect AAUW/Ohio will introduce the Senior Women to AAUW and speak about how AAUW can help them get ahead.
